A 2 player online game
YAMI is a cooperative survival shooter game in which 2 players have to cooperate in order to protect their children from being killed by the forest's monsters.

It is playable on PC with a keyboard and a mouse and was developped on Unity.

This game has been developped in one month at the CNAM-ENJMIN as a game jam.
Gameplay
Each player has a camera focused on her character. The characters have to push the car to the end of the map. The problem is that they will encounter several enemies during their trip, and they will have to go in the forest to find for exemple an axe to cut a trunk blocking the road.

To defeat them, they've got flashlights. Aiming alone at an enemy with a flashlight will just scare him a little bit and then he will come back. If both players aim at an enemy together, then he dies after a short time. The cooperation is a big deal to complete the game !
What I did
With Charli, we worked on the level design, from the duality road/forest to the spawn of monsters depending on where the players step.
I learned a lot about communication on this project. For exemple, we made a point not very clear in the game design mechanics, that ended up with a game really too difficult to be completed, with almost no chance to get rid of enemies.
GAMEPLAY
Be careful, few sound effects are really loud compared to the ambiance
